Collins, a central defender who could also play at full-back, came through Wolves’ academy but did not make a first-team appearance at Molineux.

He joined Port Vale in 2009 after a successful loan spell and made over 140 appearances in League Two for the club.

He went on to play in the Championship for Barnsley and spent time at Northampton, Mansfield and Forest Green Rovers before signing for Yeovil in 2019.
