Timo Werner plays like a ‘blind horse’ as Chelsea urged to pick Hakim Ziyech by former Tottenham and Ajax midfielder Rafael van der Vaart

Rafael van der Vaart has urged Chelsea to play Hakim Ziyech ahead of Timo Werner as he likened the German to a ‘blind horse’.
Werner has endured a difficult first season at Stamford Bridge following his £45million move from RB Leipzig.
He has scored just once in his last 16 appearances, with a goal record eerily similar to that of infamous Blues flops Andriy Shevchenko and Fernando Torres.
Zieyech also signed for Chelsea in the summer, from Ajax, but has been in and out of the side through injury and selection.
Former Ajax and Tottenham midfielder Van der Vaart urged Blues boss Thomas Tuchel to pick Zieych on a more regular basis.
When asked by if he favoured Ziyech because of his association with Ajax, he replied: "No, it's because he's the best option.
"He is always able to provide for the striker and Giroud needs guys like him. Mount plays in exactly the same way, so that's why I would pick him too.
"Timo Werner is super fast, and maybe that is something good to have in an away game when Chelsea are under pressure, but all he does is put his head down and run, which leads to nothing.
"Mount is a terrific footballer, and I think he can get even better as he gains some power, but Werner is truly a blind horse.
"He already shown that's what he's like when he played in Germany - and he's doing it again now."
