A goal scored from the opposing half is one of the greatest moments in football, and Giannis Maniatis of Greece is the latest player to have reached this achievement.

Taking part in a clash against Australia, Maniatis grabbed Greece's second goal of the game in a 2-1 victory - lobbing Adam Federici from 60 metres!

It looked as if nothing was on when he picked up the ball in his own half, and the midfielder decided to take matters into his own hands, leaving Federici with no chance.
