Christian Eriksen to be fitted with heart-starter device following cardiac arrest during Euro 2020 match between Denmark and Finland

Christian Eriksen will be fitted with a heart starter following his cardiac arrest at Euro 2020, the Denmark team doctor has confirmed.
The Inter Milan midfielder, 29, needed to be resuscitated after collapsing during the clash with Finland on Saturday.
After regaining consciousness, Eriksen has since revealed he is 'fine under the circumstances' and tests are ongoing in hospital to examine what caused the problem.
Providing an update on Thursday, Morten Boesen said: "After Christian has been through different heart examinations it has been decided that he should have an ICD (heart starter).
"This device is necessary after cardiac attack due to rhythm disturbances.
"Christian has accepted the solution and the plan has moreover been confirmed by specialists nationally and internationally who all recommend the same treatment.
"We encourage everybody to give Christian and his family peace and privacy the following time."
An Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) is a small device designed to regulate abnormal heart rhythms.
It can send electrical pulses to correct dangerous patterns that could lead to a cardiac arrest as soon as they are detected.
Netherlands defender Daley Blind, who played with Eriksen at Ajax, was fitted with an ICD after being diagnosed with heart muscle inflammation in 2019.
The 31-year-old broke down in tears during his country's 3-2 victory over Ukraine and considered missing the match after witnessing Eriksen's collapse.
Blind has suffered dizzy spells throughout his playing career and collapsed during a one-off incident when his pacemaker stopped working last August.
Meanwhile, Belgium will pay tribute to Eriksen by knocking the ball out of play in the tenth minute of their group stage clash with Denmark on Thursday at 5pm.
The Danes face an emotional return to the Parken Arena, where they eventually lost 1-0 to Finland after the match was controversially resumed on the same evening of Eriksen's collapse.
