Five Liverpool January transfer targets: La Liga star, ‘the next Henry’ and more

Following a humbling 3-1 defeat to Hull City, Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers admitted his side just aren't the same without strike star Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho.
The England hot shot is set to miss at least six weeks of action after injuring his ankle in training, while the Brazilian could only make a cameo appearance off the bench as he returns to fitness.
And Rodgers has claimed, despite several summer signings, his squad lacks the depth to cope with such an important duo begin absence from their first XI.
"Our squad, with all due respect, isn’t big enough to cope with two big players like that missing,” bemoaned the Northern Irishman, hinting he could be set for a busy January.
But just who could the Reds bring in to ensure injury woes don't derail their promising start to the Premier League season?
