Harry Kane ‘not shown up’ at the Tottenham training ground as expected with striker seeking move away amid Man City transfer links

Harry Kane has reportedly not shown up to Tottenham's training ground as expected this morning.
The England ace was due to join up with his teammates after his break following the end of Euro 2020, where the Three Lions reached the final and multiple news outlets have picked up on his absence.
Sky Sports News first reported that Kane had failed to turn up on Monday morning, which was subsequently confirmed by multiple sources.
Respected journalist , referring to Sky's report, then wrote the 28-year-old was due in and his absence was not related to any COVID protocols as first thought.
"Been told it’s Harry Kane choice and not related to Covid test," he tweeted.
The striker is believed to be seeking a move away from Spurs with Man City his preferred destination.
Kane believes he has a gentleman's agreement that would allow him to leave the club he has spent his entire career at.
He is understood to have told Tottenham before Euro 2020 that he wished to leave.
Kane has grown frustrated by the lack of silverware he has won so far during his career, having finished runner-up in two cup finals.
A move to the Etihad, where he would join the reigning Premier League champions, would certainly increase his chances of winning a trophy.
The new Premier League season is less than two weeks away now, with Spurs facing Man City in their opening game of the campaign.
Whether Kane has left the club or not, he is unlikely to play in the game having just returned from holiday.
Previous reports had suggested that City were prepared to pay as much as £160million for the striker, although that was denied by the club.
It was also claimed the champions would offer a player-plus-cash deal in an effort to prise him away from north London.
talkSPORT has contacted Tottenham but the club have declined to comment on news of Kane's no-show.
