Man City announce signing of Jack Grealish from Aston Villa in £100million transfer to set new Premier League record and make England star most expensive British player in history

Jack Grealish has completed his move to Manchester City from Aston Villa, the Premier League champions have announced.
City have forked out £100million to sign the 25-year-old on a six-year deal.
It represents a Premier League transfer record which was previously held by Manchester United's £89m deal for Paul Pogba.
The England international, who starred for Aston Villa on their return to the top-flight in the 2019/20 season and last term, is now the most expensive British player in football history.
While Villa were willing to offer Grealish more money than City, the forward wants to win the Premier League and Champions League, leaving his boyhood club with their blessing.
"I am incredibly happy to have joined Manchester City. City are the best team in the country with a manager considered to be the best in the world - it's a dream come true to be part of this club," Grealish said on www.mancity.com.
"Over the past 10 seasons, they have won major trophies consistently. Pep (Guardiola) coming here has taken them to the next level and the football this team plays is the most exciting in Europe.
"To play for Pep and learn from him is going to be special and it's something any top footballer would want.
"The facilities are amazing, and I honestly can't wait to get started, meet everyone and get playing."
The new signing could make his City debut on Saturday as they take on Leicester in the Community Shield, a match you can listen to LIVE on talkSPORT.
The Premier League champions look like they'll be an unstoppable force this season, with more business still in the pipeline.
City have also been heavily linked with a move for Grealish's Three Lions teammate Harry Kane.
Kane appears to be agitating for a move away from Tottenham having not reported for training this week so far, despite being expected to return from his break following Euro 2020 on Monday.
This transfer looks set to go right to the wire with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy understood to not be willing to accept an offer lower than £150million for the club's most prized asset.
God help the rest of the Premier League if Man City get that deal done!
