Bayern Munich chief confirms interest in signing Chelsea and Manchester United target Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund

Bayern Munich are interested in signing Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, the club's sporting director has confirmed.
Haaland is among one of the world's most sought-after players having taken the Bundesliga and Champions League by storm since joining Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg in January 2020.
The German club are reluctant to let their star man depart this summer having already sold England international Jadon Sancho to Manchester United for £73million.
Chelsea's interest in Haaland has been football's worst kept secret, although they are unlikely to pursue a move this summer with Romelu Lukaku on the verge of finalising a £97.5m return to Stamford Bridge from Inter Milan.
Meanwhile, Man United are also understood to be keeping close tabs on Haaland.
Sky Germany claim it would be very difficult for Bayern to compete on the same scale financially as the aforementioned interested suitors, but that hasn't put Hasan Salihamidzic off.
“This is a top player that the whole world probably wants," the Dortmund chief told German outlet .
"Of course we look there, otherwise we would be full amateurs."
Haaland scored 41 goals in as many games in his first full season for Dortmund, while he’s also found the net 12 times in 10 Champions League outings.
It's understood that the German side would only consider selling Haaland if they received a mammoth bid in the region of £150m.
Even Haaland himself admitted last month that the reported figure would be a lot to spend on one player.
“Before yesterday I haven’t talked to my agent in a month… you have to tell me," Haaland told Sport Bild of the transfer rumour.
"But I hope they are just rumours, as €175m (£150m) would be a lot of money for one person."
It's back and just in time for the new Premier League season, which begins on 13 August with Brentford hosting Arsenal on Friday night
