Hull City news: Ahmed Elmohamady signs new three-year deal with newly-promoted Premier League side

Hull City winger Ahmed Elmohamady has signed a new three-year deal with the newly-promoted Premier League club, subject to a renewed work permit.

The 28-year-old Egypt international was out of contract this summer and was linked with a host of top-flight clubs at the end of last season.

But he will now embark on his fifth season at the KC Stadium back in the top flight, after the Tigers' play-off final victory in May.

"I'm delighted and pleased to be here for another three years," Elmohamady told the club's official website.

"I've been here for four years now and it has been a great four years. My mind is now on the next three years with this club and the fans, and the big challenge ahead.

"We're back in the Premier League now and we can't wait to get started again."

Elmohamady has made over 180 appearances for Hull since arriving, initially on loan, from Sunderland in August 2012.

The Tigers paid Sunderland £2million to make the move permanent in June 2013 and Elmohamady has gone on to twice win Premier League promotion.
