Osdonne Edouard is the Paris Saint-Germain academy star who was wanted by Arsenal and Leicester, scored for fun at Celtic, in competition with Kylian Mbappe and now joins Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace have signed Odsonne Edouard from Celtic for £14million plus add-ons.
The highly-rated striker signs a four-year deal at Selhurst Park, ending a successful three years in Glasgow.
The 23-year-old was facing an uncertain future at Parkhead with just one year remaining on his contract at the club and Palace have pounced.
But how much do you know about the Eagles’ signing? Here are five things that you need to know about Edouard.
Born in French Guiana, Odsonne Edouard grew up in Paris and started his career with amateur side AF Bobigny before joining the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy at the age of 13.
The striker took little time to make an impact with PSG after scoring 25 goals in 22 appearances for the club’s under-17 side, before continuing his potent run of form in front of goal as he progressed through the age groups.
Edouard penned a professional deal with PSG in 2016 and even featured for the first-team in a number of pre-season friendlies.
In 2016-17 the decision was made to allow Odsonne Edouard to leave PSG on loan with a move to Ligue 2 Toulouse being the destination.
The striker made 17 appearances for the club and scored one goal, his first in the professional game.
It might not have been the most impressive return but it was enough to convince his next club to make a move.
Odsonne Edouard completed a season-long loan move to Celtic in the summer of 2017, the start of his journey with the club.
In his loan period, the striker scored 11 goals for the club in all competitions, a tally that convinced them to make the move permanent for a club-record fee of £8m.
Edouard wasted little time in making an impact with Celtic.
Upon signing with the club, the player scored 22 times in his first permanent season at Parkhead, before scoring 28 goals in his second campaign and 22 last time out.
He also played a key role in two Scottish Premiership title victories, which took the club’s record to nine title wins in a row, before arch Old Firm rivals Rangers ended their quest for a historic tenth.
You don’t score 86 goals in 179 appearances for Celtic without attracting substantial interest from clubs in England.
Arsenal, Leicester City, Newcastle United and Brighton are all among the clubs who have been linked with Edouard over the last two years.
However, Celtic’s reluctance to lose their star striker has meant that any move has been difficult to agree.
But, with his contract expiring next year, it’s clear the Bhoys’ hand has been forced with the interest from Crystal Palace.
Edouard will certainly have hopes of breaking into the France national team upon completing his summer move.
The 23-year-old has represent Les Blues at every age group from under-17 to under-21, including a staggering record of 17 goals in just 14 under-21 appearances for France.
Given the level of competition in the national set-up with the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Karim Benzema, it’s hardly a surprise that a senior cap has been hard to come by.
But with time firmly on his side, Edouard will be hopeful of making the grade sooner rather than later.
