Jack Grealish signing for Manchester City has made him more 'comfortable' and 'confident' in the England team, believes Trevor Sinclair.

And a fellow talkSPORT pundit has said it's a matter of time before West Ham's Declan Rice and Leeds' Kalvin Phillips follow his example and make the step up to a bigger club.

Grealish left boyhood club Aston Villa to join the Premier League champions earlier thie summer, shortly after helping England to the final of Euro 2020.

The 25-year-old midfielder became a heroic figure for England during the tournament and started their first match since the heart-breaking defeat to Italy, a 4-0 trouncing of Hungary.

And in that time, Sinclair has noticed a change in Grealish, claiming that he's playing more like an established international rather than playing like he's had a point to prove for England.

His move from Villa to the Etihad Stadium has made all the difference, he claims.

"When I watched Jack playing for the Under-21s, I wasn't quite sure what I liked so much about him," Sinclair told talkSPORT Breakfast.

"As I watched him more and more it was the tiny bits of detail - the first touch, how he kills the ball whatever scenario he's in and then that weight of pass so his teammate isn't trying to fight for the ball with the defender.

"He's brought it all together and now on the international stage he looks confident.

"Before he looked like 'I'm in here but I'm still fighting for my position', now he looks like he's comfortable in the team.

"That's the difference between, without being disrespectful, playing for Aston Villa, where he's one of not many players in the squad, and playing for Manchester City, where everyone in the squad is an international."

And Gabby Agbonlahor has tipped the likes of Rice and Phillips, who also starred in the win in Budapest, to follow in Grealish's footsteps.

"I watched Rice and Phillips against Hungary - outstanding," ex-Villa captain Agbonlahor said on Friday.

"But what was going through my head is, how long can these players stay at their clubs? How long can Leeds keep hold of Kalvin Phillips? How long can West Ham keep hold of Declan Rice?

"Their teammates are going to be talking while they're away - 'we've got Villarreal, Atalanta, Paris Saint-Germain' and they'll have banter, 'who've you got? Oh, you've got no one!'

"I just can't see them staying more than another season at their clubs.

"I feel like they're going to want to play at the top. They're getting it with their country, they're going to want to get it with their clubs."
