Antonio Conte has been named the new Tottenham manager and it could spark a tactical overhaul in north London.

The fans want attacking football back after almost two years of dreary performances since the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino.

Spurs could almost immediately see a change in formation under Conte, with a back-three working wonders in slightly different guises at Juvenuts, Chelsea, and Inter.

Nuno Espirito Santo, despite playing it plenty at Wolves, opted against using it regularly with the Lilywhites.

It does, though, appear it could suit Tottenham down the ground with attacking wing-backs, a ready-made partnership between Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son,

But what might Conte's side look like once he gets his feet under the desk in N17? marvelbet369.com takes a look.

At Inter, he led his side to the title with this formation which does appear it would suit his potential new club.

Spurs' best players have so far been, arguably, their defenders, but have been let down by the midfield in front of them.

Cristian Romero shows great potential, Davinson Sanchez is a decent one-on-one defender and fast enough to get teammates out of trouble, while Eric Dier, bar his Newcastle own goal has had a good start to the season.

Conte could get the best from Sergio Reguilon and Emerson Royal - a player he considered signing at Inter Milan - too.

At Inter, right wing-back Achraf Hakimi got seven goals and eight assists, while left wing-back Ashley Young got one goal and four assists, while at Chelsea Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso were sensational attacking threats.

In midfield, a three would see Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg joined by two more stars, likely to be capable ball-progressors, which would suggest Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele could finally start together on a consistent basis.

Meanwhile, Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane could form a partnership like we saw between Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.

And Kane may well enjoy the fact one of the two forwards tends to drop deep.

Conte's Chelsea title winners also made use of a back-three, but they made use of a front-three too.

Back in 2016/17, Pedro or Willian made an attacking midfield duo behind striker Diego Costa.

With Spurs, we could see, to start with, narrow roles for Lucas and Son behind Kane, but perhaps Lo Celso or Ndomble may feature in these positions too, which might represent a freer role than they have ever had before.

The back-five will remain the same but it shouldn't be forgotten Japhet Tanganga and Joe Rodon could both get a chance in the formation.

Meanwhile, in central midfield, Hojbjerg is likely to partnered with one of Lo Celso or Ndombele.

This could keep Dele Alli, Harry Winks, and Steven Bergwijn on the sidelines.
