West Ham do not welcome any bids for Euro 2016 sensation Dimitri Payet, says Hammers chief David Gold

West Ham co-owner David Gold has reaffirmed his commitment to keeping hold of Dimitri Payet.

The French schemer has lit up Euro 2016 this summer and has so far scored three goals for Les Bleus from midfield.

His performances, following on from last season's impressive form, has attracted the attention of both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.

As talkSPORT told you last week, it has been suggested in France that the chasing pack have been told that West Ham could be tempted into selling should they receive a bid of around £42m for the 29-year-old.

But Gold insists they are hoping to avoid any summer interest in their star man, with the two European heavyweights both circling.

He wrote on Twitter: "I have always said, we do not welcome any bid for Dimitri Payet."
