Neymar escapes card after squaring up to referee in furious outburst as Brazil qualify for Qatar 2022 World Cup with win over Colombia

Brazil booked their place at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as they scraped past Colombia, but there were some fiery moments in the South American showdown.
Neymar was particularly furious at points as the match threatened to boil over.
In one particularly heated exchange with the referee, the Paris Saint-Germain star got in the face of the official in just the ninth minute of the game.
The Brazil posterboy even deliberately bumped into the referee, clearly infuriated by a decision.
Colombia came out strongly in the opening minutes of the game, putting in some physical challenges that left Neymar in a heap on the ground.
Remarkably, he escaped any form of punishment and was not even shown a yellow card despite going head-to-head, quite literally, with the referee in charge.
Neymar would go on to have the last laugh, though, as he grabbed an assist as Brazil won the game 1-0.
Lucas Paqueta was the man who put the ball into the back of the net to hand the Seleção an all important victory.
The win saw Brazil qualify for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
It also kept up Neymar's incredible record in the qualification stages, with the PSG ace managing seven goals and seven assists in 12 games for his country.
