PSV fail with bid for Chelsea’s Hazard

PSV Eindhoven have been rebuffed in their bid to sign Chelsea starlet Thorgan Hazard, according to sources in Holland.

The Belgian midfielder, who is the younger brother of winger Eden, is currently on loan at Zulte Waregem, where he has scored 11 goals in all competitions this season.

PSV have been impressed with his displays in Belgium but were knocked back by Chelsea after sounding out the Premier League side over a move.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are ready to loan the younger Hazard out to a bigger club in the second half of the season, although the player wants to remain in his homeland.

And that news could come as a boost to Anderlecht, who are keen to secure his services next month.
