Brazilian £34m forward would prefer play for Inter Milan than Manchester United

Manchester United target Gabriel Jesus has revealed his desire to play for Inter Milan rather than Jose Mourinho's side.

The Red Devils view the teenager as one for the future and are currently considering whether to make an approach this summer.

The Brazilian ace, who currently plies his trade with Palmeiras, has been linked with a move to a number of elite clubs across Europe, including Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid.

Palmeiras have slapped a £34m price tag on the forward's head and are bracing themselves for a number of bids from clubs queuing up to land him.

But, speaking to Corrierre dello Sport, Jesus insisted a move to the San Siro would be his preference.

He said: "The idea of playing for Inter fascinates me.

"Also, to wear the Nerazzurri shirt, which has been worn before by one of the greatest footballers ever to come from my country [Ronaldo], would be amazing.

"To measure myself against Ronaldo and play in a major league like Serie A is a prospect that interests me."
