WATCH: Danny Ings scores as Liverpool win first 2016/17 pre-season friendly

Liverpool have got their 2016/17 preparations underway, playing their first pre-season friendly on Friday night.
The Reds headed to National League side Tranmere's Prenton Park ground, and beat the non-league side 1-0 courtesy of a Danny Ings goal.
It was not a momentus performance by Jurgen Klopp's men, but it offered the German boss the chance to test out a number of his players, including summer signings Loris Karius, Joel Matip and Sadio Mane.
But it was Ings who stole the show, netting his first goal since September 2015, and making just his second appearance since suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury in his knee in that October.
A strong pre-season will give Ings a great chance to claim the starting striker role at Anfield as his own, and you can watch his nicely taken goal below...
