Nani: I’ll help Bebe become a United star

Manchester United winger Nani has offered to help fellow Portuguese countryman Bebe settle into his new surroundings at Old Trafford, and believes he will be a major star in the Premier League.

Bebe has completed a £7.4m move from Vitoria Guimaraes and is regarded as one of the best young talents in Portugal.

It is something of a fairytale story for the young striker who spent part of his childhood on the Portuguese streets and played in the Homeless World Cup.

But he is now preparing to play at the Theatre of Dreams and Nani is convinced he can fulfil his potential at United.

Nani said: "I did not know him personally, but I believe this is great for Portuguese football.

"We need to have youth players who can grow at such a great club like this. I am sure he will adapt well and I am going to do everything to help him be a success."
