Grant: ‘Upson is staying at Upton Park’

Avram Grant has confirmed Matthew Upson will stay at West Ham this summer.
The West Ham defender has been linked with a move to Tottenham, with a bid of around £6m reportedly enough to take him away from Upton Park.
But Grant says the England international looks destined to stay at West Ham, despite the interest from clubs elsewhere.
"I cannot guarantee that the squad we have now will stay together for the season, but 90 per cent of it will remain the same," Grant said.
"Matthew Upson is in that 90 percent and he will stay with us. I think we have a few good players that are always linked to other clubs. The most important thing is to take the club forward."
And Grant says he may not be finished in his dealings this transfer window, with more moves planned for the West Ham manager - although Grant remains coy on signing Bolton's Matt Taylor, who has been linked with the switch to Upton Park.
"I hope we will be busy because we want the squad to be stronger. We came into the new season with some new players but we need more - there are a few positions we don't have covered so we will try to do it," he added.
"Many players have been linked to West Ham but I don't want to speak about them. We don't want to think just about this year, we need to think for the future."
