Anelka: ‘I’ve finally found a club I love’

Nicolas Anelka says he is so happy at Chelsea that he will even consider staying in London even when after he has retired.

Anelka, who agreed an extension to his contract at Stamford Bridge in June, expects to be a Chelsea player at least until 2012 when he will be 33.

The Frenchman, who played for eight clubs before arriving in west London, says he has finally found his spiritual home.

He said: “I love playing for Chelsea and I am very happy here. I like London and I like English football – that’s why I could easily live my life after football here. I like everything about this country.”
