Moyes confident Pienaar will extend Everton contract

Everton are hopeful of securing Steven Pienaar on an improved contract after a deadline day move to Tottenham failed to materialise.
talkSPORT exclusively revealed on deadline day morning that Spurs had made an enquiry about the availability of Pienaar.
Harry Redknapp was swiftly put off making a firm bid when members of the Goodison Park hierarchy warned he would have to break the bank to land Pienaar.
The South Africa midfielder's contract expires next summer and he will be available for free - a scenario that does not faze David Moyes, who paid £3m for the star back in 2007.
Moyes says he is prepared to wait for Pienaar although he has not ruled out the possibility of him leaving next summer.
But now Pienaar is staying at Goodison Park, Moyes hopes the midfielder will accept the club's offer of a new contract.
More talks are planned soon and with Mikel Arteta and Jack Rodwell committing their future to the club, Pienaar is set to follow suit.
