Real Madrid set sights on Spurs star Bale

Real Madrid are looking to solve their left-midfield problem by signing Tottenham's Gareth Bale, according to Spanish newspaper Sport.

Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is now at the helm of the Spanish giants who are planning to dedicate all their energies in the winter transfer window in filling what they think is a lack of strength in depth on the left-hand side and 21-year-old Bale is at the top of his list.

The former Southampton player made his name as a left-back but, since his move to Tottenham, he has made a name for himself as one of the most accomplished left sided attackers in the Premier League.
