Joe Cole completes West Ham return

West Ham have completed the signing of Joe Cole from Liverpool.

The 31-year-old has agreed a two-and-a-half year contract at Upton Park, believed to be around £30,000 a-week, after negotiating a deal with the Reds about the remainder of his contract at Anfield.

It's understood Brendan Rodgers side will pay the England midfielder £50,000 a week for the remaining 18-months of his deal.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp also expressed an interest in the former Chelsea midfielder but talkSPORT understands that Cole turned down an 18-month deal at the Rs.

The deal has been completed in time for Cole to be selected for the FA Cup fixture against Manchester United on Saturday.
