Redknapp rules out new bid for Parker

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has ruled out making another bid for West Ham midfielder Scott Parker.

Redknapp has already seen a £6m bid turned down for the England star and reports suggested that the north London club would make an improved offer before the transfer window closes.

But West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady made her feeling known towards Redknapp last week insisting the player is not for sale and Tottenham should leave him alone.

Redknapp said: "I don't think anything is going to happen with Scott Parker. They don't want to sell him."
