Arsenal starlet set for Swansea loan switch

Arsenal midfielder Henri Lansbury is set to make a season-long loan move to Swansea.

The 19-year-old has been told he can leave the Emirates on a temporary basis, but proposed moves to Leeds and Nottingham Forest have both fallen through.

And now Lansbury is set for a switch to the Liberty Stadium, having discussed the move with close pal Scott Sinclair, who joined the Championship outfit from Chelsea in the summer.

Arsene Wenger initially wanted the midfielder, who was on loan at Watford last season, to move to a Premier League club, but Newcastle and West Brom's interest has cooled.

And the youngster has resigned himself to spending another season in the Championship as he is set to join Brendan Rodgers side.
