Spurs and Arsenal on alert over M’Vila

Yann M'Vila could be on the move again this summer - and that could prompt Arsenal and Tottenham to revive their interest in the France international.

The highly-rated 22-year-old, who came through the ranks and made his name at Rennes, made a surprise £10.5m move to Rubin Kazan in January despite interest from the Premier League and elsewhere.

He has struggled so far at in Kazan - knee troubles have restricted him to just five league outings - but he has attracted interest from Anzhi Makhachkala.

The Dagestan-based side are desperate to pair M'Vila with former Chelsea and Arsenal anchorman Lassana Diarra and will look to prise him away from their domestic rivals.

Both Arsenal and Spurs are believed to be in the market for a defensive midfielder and could join Anzhi in the chase for the Frenchman if Rubin signal their willingness to cash in.
