Zaragoza swoop for Spurs and Sunderland flops

La Liga strugglers Real Zaragoza hope to sign two Premier League flops to stave off the threat of relegation.

TottenhamGiovani Dos Santos, who has not appeared in the Premier League since September.

And, according to Spanish newspaper AS, Zaragoza are now ready to tie up a deal for Sunderland outcast Paulo Da Silva.

The Paraguay international who signed in the summer of 2009, made just 12 Premier League appearances last summer and has fallen even further down the pecking order this season.

The 30-year-old defender has made just one Premier League appearance this term and looks set to leave England in January with Zaragoza now keen on doing a deal.
