Spurs flop hints at full-time switch to Spain

Tottenham outcast Giovani Dos Santos is ready to draw a line under his Premier League nightmare and has hinted at a permanent move to loan club Racing Santander.

Dos Santos, who has joined the La Liga side until the end of the season, started just two Premier League games in over two years at White Hart Lane and spent time at Ipswich and Galatasaray.

But the Mexico international is now ready to make his third temporary switch a permanent one.

"I know Racing is an opportunity for me. I want to seize this chance because I know I can give a lot to this team," he said.

"I have come here to give everything. There are things I want to put behind me. I think things will go well for me here and I want to be here for a long time."
