Scottie Scheffler has been so dominant his caddie Ted Scott has earned more than Viktor Hovland and Tommy Fleetwood in 2024
Scotte Scheffler equalled Tiger Wood's 17-year golf feat in 2024 - and his caddie Ted Scott has reaped the rewards from it.
The 28-year-old won the prestigious Tour Championship on Sunday, with the title banking him a cool £19m.
It brings his year's earnings to a staggering £41.2million having enjoyed a remarkable 2024.
In addition to winning the gold medal at the Paris Olympics, the American also won his second Green Jacket at The Masters.
The New Jersey native, who also became a father in May, scooped seven PGA Tour titles this season in what has been a whirlwind year.
In doing so, he has become the first player since Woods in 2007 to claim seven victories on tour in a single year.

It was only in May that he was arrested ahead of the second round of the PGA Championship following a misunderstanding in the wake of a fatal traffic accident that saw him drive past a police officer.
Such was Scheffler's dominance this year, his caddie Scott has earned more than Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Thomas, Viktor Hovland and Will Zalatoris.
From his cut of Scheffler's earnings in 2024, Scott, who was previously Bubba Watson's bagman, has earned around £3.98m.
Incredibly, his salary from this year alone would place him within the PGA Tour's top 25.
Assuming Scott benefits from the 10-7-5 structure, he would pocket 10 per cent from Scheffler's victory prize money, seven per cent from a top-ten finish and five per cent from everything else.
This would have seen Scott bank a tidy £1.9m from Scheffler's Tour Championship success at East Lake Golf Club.
