Conor McGregor sparring partner tells him to release the ‘whole footage’ after boxing clip goes viral

Conor McGregor’s latest sparring partner wants him to share all the footage from their recent boxing session.

The former dual-weight UFC champion recently linked up with Sean O’Bradaigh, an amateur boxer ranked no.8 in the US at light heavyweight.

On Wednesday evening, McGregor extended an olive branch to Dana White by talking up his Irish boxing prospect, Callum Walsh, ahead of his fight in Dublin on Saturday night.

‘Notorious’ shared a brief clip of his sparring session with O’Bradaigh alongside his message to the UFC boss, who recently delayed his comeback bout until 2025.

The footage showed McGregor landing a clean overhand left to his opponent’s chin before following up with a series of powerful strikes the 22-year-old was able to block.

“I got some good rounds in with a young American Irish lad recently,” he said in the caption.

“No.8 ranked in the USA at light heavyweight, Sean O’Bradaigh, he caught me some nice shots and I caught him with this tasty back hand hook as well!”

McGregor’s post quickly racked up over 100,000 likes, including one from UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones, before it began circulating on other social media platforms.

However, O’Bradaigh has since suggested he got the better of McGregor.

“Was a pleasure sparring champ! Let’s see the whole footage,” O’Bradaigh wrote alongside a wink emoji in the Irish UFC superstar’s Instagram comment section.

Clearly buzzing to have shared the ring with McGregor, O’Bradaigh began re-posting the supportive messages he was receiving from fan and friends.

However, one stood out from the rest as it suggested that the New Yorker badly beat up McGregor in sparring.

“Don’t get it twisted, Sean O’Bradaigh took McNuggets lunch money and made him hide in the pool tonight,” the post shared to O’Bradaigh's Instagram story read.

“Check McNugg’s IG story. Same building, he didn’t wanna come back.”

O’Bradaigh is not the first boxer McGregor has annoyed by sharing unflattering sparring footage.

The former world champion still disputes an apparent knockdown shown in one of the clips, and the pair became bitter enemies as a result.

All these years later, McGregor still hasn't released all the footage from his infamous spar with Malignaggi.

O’Bradaigh is unlikely to get his wish any time soon and exactly what happened during his training session with McGregor will remain a mystery.
