Shirtless Nate Diaz wades into $200million rivalry between Conor McGregor and Terence Crawford
Nate Diaz has a two-fight plan for boxing and MMA.
The UFC legend famously enjoyed a 15-year stint in Dana White’s promotion before running out his contract and transitioning to boxing in 2023.
Diaz has had mixed results in fights with Jake Paul and Jorge Masvidal, but he believes he is ready to step up his opposition by taking on one of boxing’s pound-for-pound best fighters.
The 39-year-old wants to face off against Terence Crawford in the ring before returning to MMA and completing his trilogy with Conor McGregor after going 1-1 with the Irishman in 2016.
Diaz revealed his plan on alongside a shirtless selfie to prove he’s fight-ready.
“I Box Crawford and fight Conor next,” Diaz captioned the post.

Diaz’s tweet comes days after McGregor revealed that Crawford turned down a two-fight deal to fight in him in MMA and boxing.
McGregor said during a live stream with Duelbits: “Crawford is very slick, he also has a wrestling background pedigree.
"You know they’re always talking to me about bouts. I’ve already boxed a boxer, and the best boxer in MMA is me."
‘Bud’ openly admits he turned down the offer because he has no interest in taking kicks and elbows from the former dual-weight UFC champion.
Crawford explained his stance to , saying: "I told Conor, 'Hell no'. They called me and they offered me the fight and me and Conor got on the phone and started trying to figure something out.
"You know what I mean? I generate the most. We were talking back and forth about a two-fight deal."
“And I told him, 'Man, I ain't getting into no Octagon with you so you can be kicking me and elbow me and s***'.
"He started laughing and s*** and he said 'Man, I respect it.
“But he was like, 'We will make a s*** ton of money'. I said, 'Yeah, sometimes it ain't about the money, I can make money but you ain't about to be kicking me, dude'.
"Kicks and elbows man that s*** ain't no joke."
McGregor took to Instagram to publicly declare his respect for Crawford and revealed exactly how much the American was leaving on the table by refusing to fight him.
He wrote: "Big respect to @tbudcrawford! $100million dollars in a fight, 1 in MMA, 1 boxing. $200million dollars!"
Crawford’s reply to the comment suggested he was having some regrets.
"@thenotoriousmma tempted,'' he said.
For now, Crawford is fully focused on his boxing career.
In his last fight, Crawford snatched the WBA super welterweight title from Israil Madrimov via unanimous decision two months ago.
He was also awarded the WBO 'interim' title in the process and as a result, was made mandatory for WBO and WBC champion Sebastian Fundora.
On August 28, the WBO ordered Fundora to defend his titles against Crawford with both parties given 30 days to negotiate a deal.

They have since been granted a ten-day extension period until October 10 before a purse bid is ordered.
A win over Fundora would move Crawford one step closer to becoming the first three-weight undisputed champion of the four-belt era.
