‘Unhinged’ – Logan Paul issues heartfelt concern for Conor McGregor when giving street fight prediction

Logan Paul revealed he 'actually felt sad' for former UFC champion Conor McGregor after meeting the Irishman last month.

On Paul's podcast IMPAULSIVE he confidently denied McGregor would beat him in a street fight.

The two were rumoured to be in talks for a boxing fight in Mumbai, India that would net them $250m each but progress has stalled.

However, McGregor suggested last week that negotiations collapsed because the UFC refused to approve the bout.

The Irish fighter claimed both he and Paul were ready to meet under the TKO banner, which overseas WWE and UFC, but that the latter just 'weren't into it'.

In January, the American met the fighter on a bus trip to Donald Trump’s Presidential inauguration.

Speaking about the meeting on his podcast, Paul said: “I watched back that footage of Conor talking s*** to us, he said he’s going to slap me, Jake and KSI.

We’re fully laughing at what used to be one of the scariest men on the planet. I actually felt sad.

“This statement at one point would have made us feel fear and now two YouTubers are laughing at this washed up, cracked out fighter who’s unhinged and there’s no truth in what he’s saying.

Impaulsive co-host Mike Majlak said: “But I don’t get what you’re saying because he’d still work your ass.”

“You’re actually insane,”replied Paul. “Stop Mike.”

Paul countered: “He’s not working anything because he’s not working. He’s not doing anything except drugs.”

A comment most likely inspired by McGregor’s actions that has landed him amongst the news agenda.

A reaction that reached its boiling point after fellow Irish fighter Paul Hughes confessed 'I'm not like this other guy [McGregor]' after a loss to Usman Nurmagomedov, Khabib's cousin.

And last year the 36-year-old lost a civil rape case and was ordered to pay £206,000 in damages.

McGregor remains inactive as a fighter, having not had a professional MMA bout since July 2021 when he lost to Dustin Poirier.

In that bout he broke his leg, while in 2024 he saw a pinky toe injury cancel a bout with Michael Chandler at UFC 303.
