McGregor will have been officially out of fighting action for four years when this summer comes around.

The 36-year-old Dublin native hasn't been spotted in the UFC's Octagon since 2021, when he broke his leg in a trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier.

That defeat marked McGregor's second to Poirier in six months after he had returned to his beloved sport, MMA, by defeating Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone in January 2020.

The Irishman has made several public appearances since, promoting things like the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC).

He's now teased another appearance in Dublin tonight.

"Who's going to Limp Bizkit in Ireland tomorrow?" 'The Notorious' wrote on yesterday.

"I'll be bang in the centre of the Moshpit if anyone's looking for their jaw broke and their teeth sent."

American nu metal band Limp Bizkit will play at Dublin's 3Arena as part of their Loserville 2025 UK tour, which will also see them appear in Birmingham, Manchester and London this month.

Fans couldn't contain their amusement at McGregor's strange invitation when responding to the Irishman's comments.

One responded: "Imagine going to a concert and getting round housed by Conor McGregor."

While a second said: "The way getting your jaw broke by McGregor at a Limp Bizkit concert would actually be the best story to tell your grandkids."

A third added: "Imagine being at the concert, Break Stuff comes on and you turn around and see Conor staring at you."

UFC Hall of Famer Rashad Evans replied with laughing emojis, and current undefeated UFC welterweight Oban Elliot said: "Make them miss, make them pay! They won't be able to land on your jaw brother."

McGregor has been getting heavily involved in the music industry since announcing the signing of up-and-coming British girl band Sweet Love to his Irish-based label Greenback Records.

"I am super proud and excited to announce the signing of the biggest girl band since The Spice Girls," McGregor said in February.

He has also been getting up to all sorts in his hometown of Dublin this month.

Last week, 'The Notorious' teamed up with celebrity jeweler TraxNYC to hand out gold and silver to locals.

Bars and coins worth $100,000 have been hidden around Dublin, with people from the Irish capital attempting to locate the precious metals.

Some have been stashed in well-known landmarks such as the Molly Malone Statue and the City Hall, but others will prove harder to find.

Some of the coins include Black Forge Inn gift cards, while McGregor's pub has been littered with gold and silver as well.

“For the people of Ireland, gold and silver. Prosperity for the people of Ireland," said McGregor.

McGregor was scheduled to make his UFC return last June against Michael Chandler, but the bout was cancelled after the Irishman injured his toe.

Chandler is now gearing up for a fight with Liverpudlian Paddy Pimblett next month at UFC 314, while McGregor remains on the sidelines.
