Travis Kelce jokes coach Andy Reid may have been Taylor Swift matchmaker – ‘who knew cupid was so big?’

Andy Reid was connecting with Taylor Swift before Travis Kelce.

The Kansas City Chiefs head coach joked last Sunday that he helped 'set up' Kelce and Swift.

podcast with his brother, Jason, revealed an even deeper connection between the famous Chiefs leader and an even more famous pop music superstar.

“I heard he (Reid) had met the Swift family before so he could have been in the background the whole time,” Travis . “When he was a Philly coach, yeah, that's when he met the Swift family. Who knows, he could have been in the background the whole time. Shout out to coach Reid."

After Jason joked that Reid had played “matchmaker,” Travis increased the brotherly humor.

"Who knew cupid was so big!" Travis said.

Six-time Super Bowl champion Bill Belichick also got in the middle of the Swift and Travis news, joking that hanging out with the musician was the biggest catch of Travis’ career.

"That was a great line by Bill,” Jason said.

The Chiefs receiver said that his life instantly changed when he was publicly attached to Swift, whose presence at a blowout win over the Bears instantly went viral.

Travis acknowledged that he brought all the extra attention on himself.
