New York Jets fans left stunned as alarming Aaron Rodgers stats compare with banished Zach Wilson
Aaron Rodgers has failed to steer the New York Jets to success this season.
The four-time NFL MVP quarterback arrived at the Metlife Stadium last year by joking that the team's only Super Bowl trophy was 'looking a little lonely'.
But heading into their bye week in what's been a dismal 2024 season so far, the Jets have a 3-8 record and their chances of reaching the playoffs are all-but over.
It looks like the long wait for a postseason run - the last of which came in 2010 - will go on.
That's because game after game, the Jets keep finding different ways to lose.
On Sunday, against the Indianapolis Colts, the team overcame a 13-0 deficit to take a 27-22 lead late in the fourth quarter.

But they proceeded to slip on defense in the final two minutes, allowing Anthony Richardson to go 70 yards on six plays for the winning touchdown with 46 seconds left.
In the 28-27 defeat, Rodgers was outplayed by his opposite number Richardson - a second-year quarterback recently reinstated as his team's starter.
Veteran Rodgers completed 22 of 29 passes, and threw two touchdowns, but only managed only 184 yards through the air.
The Colts QB, meanwhile, threw for 272 yards and a TD, and added two more scores on the ground.
While Richardson found a spark to reignite his young career with an electrifying performance, it looks like Rodgers might need a miracle to bounce back.
And after the latest defeat, a rather shocking stat has emerged.
Rodgers has a win percentage of .273 as a Jets starter and that puts him in unwanted territory, below both Zach Wilson and Sam Darnold's tenures with the team.
