Eagles’ Brotherly Shove ends in chaos as A.J. Brown and Marshon Lattimore brawl with helmet ripped off

When Philly unleashed its trademark Brotherly Shove -- also known as the Tush Push -- for a touchdown late in the second quarter, a growing beef between Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown and Commanders defensive back Marshon Lattimore quickly became chaotic.

While Jalen Hurts gave Philly a 20-12 lead before a roaring home crowd, Brown and Lattimore went at it on the right side of the field.

Big time.

Brown nearly lost his helmet.

Lattimore eventually did.

More Eagles and Commanders players converged, as a full-on brawl threatened to break out.

Lattimore was penalized on the play, giving Philly a better shot at a two-point conversion -- and another Tush Push.

But the brotherly shoving between Brown and Lattimore dominated social media, with fans stunned at the intense scene that appeared to happen out of nowhere.

"Playoff football is awesome," one fan tweeted.

"This is good television," a second fan posted.

"Wow such hate for each other, let’s just all skip around and be merry ok?" a third fan wrote.

"Lattimore always got beef (with) someone," a fourth fan said.

Lattimore famously got into it several times with Tampa Bay's Mike Evans.

With former Buc Tom Brady calling the game, Lattimore and Brown embraced their inner anger and attacked each other with flaring passion.
