Tommy Fury’s sparring partner KO’d by brutal first-round body shot from unbeaten prospect after being mocked by KSI

Tommy Fury's sparring partner Owen Kirk was quickly knocked out by Paddy Lacey on Saturday night.

Kirk, who was in camp with Fury to help him prepare for his fight with KSI last week, is a relatively inexperienced professional himself.

The 24-year-old entered the bout with a record of 3-1-2 (0 KOs).

Lacey meanwhile is an unbeaten 30-year-old and entered with a record of 9-0 (1 KO).

The fight itself was over in a flash.

After just 90 seconds, Lacey landed a hard left hook to the body.

Kirk dropped to his knees in pain.

Not long later, he rolled onto his back and was counted out by the referee for a first-round knockout.

The result moved Lacey to 10-0, while Kirk is now 3-2-2.

KSI had mocked Fury for sparring with Kirk before their fight.

KSI stumbled across a picture of the pair and posted angrily about the fact Fury was preparing to fight him by sharing rounds with a boxer who has a patchy record.

He wrote on Instagram: “This is your final spar Tommy Fury?”

The 30-year-old then added a screenshot of Fury’s sparing partner’s boxing record to his Instagram story alongside an angry rant aimed at his rival.

“How f***ing dare you? You’re not taking me seriously at all you f***ing piece of s***,” KSI added.

“I’m preparing myself for the ultimate challenge and this is what you’re sparring with? A middleweight with s*** movement and weak a** punches?!”

In the end, Fury beat KSI by narrow unanimous decision.
