Yesterday we asked talkSPORT fans on Facebook which player they consider their club's biggest waste of money.
After a huge response we've put together some of your comments and would like to know what everyone else thinks too, so don't forget to leave a comment at the end of the article.
And please excuse the poor spelling and grammar - these are direct quotes from frustrated fans!

Keith Buckley: The Geordie hen-teaser and pigeon fancying flat cap wearer, Andy Carroll. Is it me, but when he's out on the park he looks like he's lost his Whippet. Neil N Rox: Alberto Aquilani, biggest waste of money. Djimi Traore, worst player signed. Houllier, Rafa and Roy wasted some serious money. For every Alonso there has been two Joe Coles.

Jon-Jo Hildebrand Charters: Have to say Michael Owen for Newcastle. At least when high profile signings like Shevchenko for Chelsea, Veron for Man U, signed big contracts, they left on good/decent terms. Michael Owen just thinks it's clever to have a pop at the club that gave him a chance to get back in to English football. Ungrateful waste of space!
Carl Hudspith: Marcelino Elena Sierra - Newcastle United. Cost nearly £6 million at the time and couldn't be bothered to play because he hurt his finger. Disgrace!! Paul Maughan: Jean Alain Boumsong 8million and Marcelino can't remember the fee but was a lot of money to stay injured with a sore finger at Newcastle

Tom Halpin: I thought it was impossible to be a bigger waste of money than Schevchenko but then Torres comes along to prove me wrong

Mark Gilbert: rafael scheidt who played for celtic £5MILLION and john barnes or celtic scouts had never seen him in the flesh just video clips ,,shocking
