Arsenal are facing a defensive crisis with Brazilian left-back Andre Santos ruled out with an ankle injury for three months, adding to a list of defenders sidelined including Bacary Sagna, Keiran GIbbs and Carl Jenkinson. Arsene Wenger had to use four centre-backs in defence against Everton and, with the Gunners hoping to build on recent momentum, he may have to do some January shopping to keep his team in the hunt for silverware.
