Where next for Emile Heskey? Snooker referee, next England boss, entertainer and other suggestions

The world took a collective gasp in horror when reports surfaced this week suggesting Aston Villa will release Emile Heskey in the summer.

How dare they? You don't get rid of Emile Heskey, he gets rid of you!

If it is to be the end of the Heskinator at Villa, here's what we think the big man could get up to next season…

ENGLAND MANAGER

With Fabio Capello, Steve McClaren and Sven Goran-Erikkson in charge, the 'powerhouse' always managed to creep into England's plans at some stage. So, how will the FA make sure the man - who boasts seven international goals - will remain a part of the Three Lions' set-up? Offer Heskey the manager's position, of course, with a clause in there preventing him from playing.

SNOOKER REFEREE

According to the snooker rule book, a foul and a miss is called if the referee thinks a player has missed while not making a good enough attempt at striking a ball. Well, who better than Heskey to determine whether or not someone has performed said foul and miss? There's no reward for pointing it out in football, so why not allow Emile to switch disciplines and slip on those snazzy white gloves?
