The details: Though Andrey Arshavin took most of the plaudits for Russia's performance against the Czechs, nippy CSKA Moscow man Alan Dzagoev's role shouldn't go overlooked. Dzagoev is already being touted as the next Arshavin, following in the Arsenal man's Euro 2008 steps by scoring a brilliant brace against the Czech Republic. Dzagoev not only opened the scoring, but he also notched up the vital third goal to silence any potential Czech comeback. With the gauntlet laid down, the Poles will be extremely wary of Dzagoev and the host nation would do well to contain him if they hope to get anything out of the game.

Name: Jakub 'Kuba' Blaszczykowski
Position: Midfielder
Country: Poland
Caps: 52
Club: Borussia Dortmund

The details: Dortmund man Kuba has made a habit out of combining with club and national team mate Robert Lewandowski this season, and in Poland's opening game he continued that form with a cross for the big striker's goal. Kuba loves running at players, and his dribbling and directness was one of Poland's biggest weapons against the Greeks, but the host nation will be hoping to draw upon his familiarity with Lewandowski more often in order to trouble the Russians. Kuba has the occasional goal in him too, and after netting in a pre-tournament friendly against Andorra, now would be a good time to bag the next one.
