Logan Paul names the one key difference of working under Triple H in WWE to ex-boss Vince McMahon
Logan Paul says he and his fellow WWE stars have far greater freedom in the TKO era of the pro wrestling company.
WWE and UFC’s parent company Zuffa merged to form TKO under the Endeavor Group in April 2023, taking the grappling giant out of family ownership for the very first time.
Huge changes continued to follow when Chairman Vince McMahon resigned from the board of TKO Group in January of this in the wake of sexual assault and sex trafficking allegations raised by a former employee in a lawsuit.
That huge shift saw Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque effectively take over as boss of WWE in respect of its on-screen product, taking the titles of Chief Content Officer and Head of Creative.
The merger also saw the return to WWE of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson - also on the TKO Board - to the ring, wrestling his first match in years at the recent WrestleMania XL.
There’s been further crossover appeal for mainstream fans with the continued development of Logan Paul the current WWE United States Champion.

The pairing of Paul and Rock helped WWE put on what it claimed was its biggest WrestleMania of all time in terms of receipts and revenues.
Paul has admitted that there’s been a big boost behind the scenes under his new bosses, too.
Without specifically referencing McMahon, he made clear that working as a performer under Levesque is a very different affair.
“Especially now. I feel like the performers and athletes have such a freedom to just be themselves and pitch ideas and not have fear of being shut down.â€
The influencer turned boxer and wrestler was, of course, in no doubt about what he brings to the party in WWE under Levesque’s stewardship, either.
He added: “I take pride in my role of trying to get viral internet moments and content to capture people who might not be interested in WWE.
“I feel that’s where I provide the most value to you guys – I’m the outsider, I’m the social media guy.
“Even something as simple as drawing on the Elimination Chamber. I asked you: ‘Hey, if I brought a maker in and if I’m waiting in that pod, can I just draw stuff?’
“He’s like: ‘Yeah, just don’t do it in any big moments, I don’t see how that could be a problem.’
“The video is like one of my most-viewed videos of all time, it’s got a collective 150 million views, it’s insane.
“I think people who aren’t in WWE will see that and will be like….’I might tune into that next time.’
“It’s the storytelling. It’s the claw, it hooks people and right now you guys are killing it.â€
Paul won WWE's US title by beating veteran Rey Mysterio last year, and successfully defended his gold in a triple-threat match against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens at WrestleMania that saw YouTuber ISHOWSPEED hit with an RKO.
