WWE star clarifies WrestleMania wardrobe malfunction that got ‘over seven million views’

WWE superstar Jade Cargill has addressed an apparent wardrobe malfunction that took place during her match at WrestleMania 41.

Cargill was embroiled in a grudge match against opponent Naomi at the Las Vegas showpiece last weekend, coming out on top in the bitter feud.

However, during the slugfest at Allegiant Stadium fans were drawn to Cargill’s outfit which appeared to come loose on multiple occasions.

The 32-year-old wore a gold coloured costume that showed off her ripped physique but she was forced to adjust the outfit throughout the match.

That’s because her top continually slipped down exposing her nipple – or so fans thought.

Footage of the incident went viral across social media with views standing at a staggering seven million.

And that’s in addition to the reported 124,693 who attended both nights of the extravaganza.

Cargill took to X on Thursday night to address the situation and quickly settled the score with one fan who cheekily described her in-match difficulties as a ‘nipslip’.

The WWE star hit back saying: “That got over 7 million views on Twitter! Y’all wild and it wasn’t even my nipple you virgins.”

Cargill was alluding to the nipple cover that she was wearing as part of her attire for the match, leaving some fans with egg on their face.

Overall, it was a successful second WrestleMania for the star after making her debut at the event last year.

She tagged up with Bianca Belair and Naomi against Damage CTRL at the 2024 show in Philadelphia only to face her former friend this time round.

Tension had reached boiling point for the pair in the build up to WrestleMania when it was revealed that Naomi had pushed Cargill through a car windshield.

It came after Cargill made her grand return at Elimination Chamber only for her to make a beeline for Naomi in the quest for the women’s world championship.

Cargill saw off Naomi at WrestleMania with a brutal powerbomb and revealed that revenge against the opponent felt sweet.

“I thought justice was served tonight. You know, I lost my voice out there, trying to get that revenge that I was going for, and I did exactly what I was saying I was going to do,” Cargill said.

“Every single time. Every single time. It still hurts, and you know…every single time,” she added when asked about facing her former tag team partner.

“My family being there and seeing that, I got the revenge that I was seeking,” she added. “It felt really good. My Daughter was out there, my spouse was out there as were my brother and sisters. It felt really good to see them out there watching me do my thing.”
