Seth Rollins finally comments on Dean Ambrose leaving WWE: ‘It breaks my heart’
The two Shield brothers have done it all together in the WWE and now, Dean Ambrose is deaprting after WrestleMania 35
All good things come to an end, including The Shield.
As we have known since just after the Royal Rumble, Dean Ambrose will be departing the WWE after WrestleMania 35.
The WWE's showpiece event goes down this Sunday and Ambrose may have already made his last appearance for the company. Or, he may appear in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal.
With his WWE career coming to an end, Shield brother Seth Rollins has opened up about how the news has affected him.
“It breaks my heart,” Rollins said about Ambrose’s departure to WWE. “I get it. I understand this place can be frustrating. He’s a guy who’s been doing it nonstop for 15, 16, 17 years. Sometimes you just need to step away and take care of yourself. I wish him luck in whatever he wants to do.”
He added, “I know how he feels about his creativity. Sometimes when it pulls him in a different direction, that’s just how he’s gotta be. I never imagined the three of us working anywhere else or not being here at the same time.”
The rumours had been that Ambrose was frustrated with his creative for a while and ultimately led to his departure and many believed Roman Reigns' return from illness would convince him to stay.
Unfortunately, it seems as though the former WWE champion has not changed his mind and will be a free agent after the Grandaddy of Them All.
